Optimization of Dressing Parameters for Minimum Surface Roughness and Maximum Material Removal Rate in Internal Grinding of SKD11 Tool Steel

This paper introduces a study on multi-objective optimization of dressing parameters in internal grinding SKD 11 tool steel using Grey based Taguchi method. The L27 orthogonal array the method was selected to design experiments. input process are depth fine, time fine dressing, coarse non-feeding and feed rate. output factors surface roughness (SR) material removal rate (MRR). A grey relation grade determined by signal-to-noise ratio. ANOVA applied find out effect grade. In conclusion, times is parameter that has strongest impact multiple performance characteristics, followed times. Also, optimum get minimum SR maximum MRR 0.03mm, 2 times, 0.01 mm, 1.2mm/min.
